Professor Ekmekci is a medical doctor and Professor of Medical Ethics at TOBB ETU School of Medicine, Ankara, where she also serves as Deputy Dean. Internationally recognized for her work in bioethics, public health and AI ethics, she has held advisory roles with the Turkish Ministry of Health and represented Turkey at the ECDC. Her academic background includes fellowships in the UK and. US, with a focus on research ethics, healthcare management, and public health. She contributes to global health policy through her work with UNESCO and the World Medical Association.

Professor Pabuçcu is a Turkish gynaecologist and expert in reproductive medicine. He cofounded the Centrum Clinic IVF Center in Ankara and is a professor at Ufuk University. His clinical interests include preimplantation genetic testing and minimally invasive reproductive surgery. He has trained internationally, including in the US, and holds ESGE Level 1 certification. Professor Pabuçcu has authored over 70 peer-reviewed papers and serves as General Secretary and Board Member of the Turkish Society of Reproductive Medicine and Surgery.

Dr Grimes is an Assistant Professor in Public Health at Trinity College Dublin, specialising
in disinformation, research methodology and science communication. With a background in
physics and biomedical research, he advises global media and international organisations on the impact of misinformation. His work focuses on critical thinking and public health policy. He is the author of The Irrational Ape (Simon & Schuster, 2020), which explores how flawed logic and disinformation shape our world and how critical thinking can counter it.

Dr Antunes is a fertility specialist with training in gynaecology, obstetrics and human reproduction. He earned his medical degree, Master’s in Health Sciences, and Ph.D. in Endocrinology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), where he also teaches and leads the Infertility Outpatient Clinic. He is certified in assisted reproduction and endoscopic gynaecology, and serves as Medical Director at FERTIPRAXIS. Dr Antunes holds leadership roles with the Brazilian Society of Assisted Reproduction (SBRA) and REDLARA, advancing education in reproductive medicine across Latin America.
